After the launch of Facebook app for smartphones there was a dying need of a instant messaging which should be totally separate from Facebook social app. Facebook officially launched it and said as Facebook Messenger.

According to the recent official blog of Facebook, it has made some changes to app which will improve the user experience. Users will be now available to differentiate between those logging from desktop and those logging in from smartphones. Also user can upload the image and the current location through the latest update.
