Twitter gets major updates for iPhone and Android

Twitter for iPhone and Android has got major updates today with all new UI, improved speed and efficient. Updates are live on Apple’s AppStore and Android’s market. Twitter iOS related version is 4 and that for Android is 3.

Both the apps have received quite a major updates with considerable UI changes and Twitter developers have managed to make there app for user friendly.

First changes user will notice is the removal of the Replies tab and it replaced by a new Connect tab. Similar to the Twitter web app redesign, the mobile apps now show more just replies here, with Retweets and Favorited tweets now added to the mix.

Discover is the new tab included where user can tap into the stories and trends people are talking about in the Twitter world.

I am still testing the new version on my Android version (HTC Desire) and will share with you if I found any bugs or related issue.
