Even though all Windows Phone user can get the updates from LinkedIn using the built in feature in People’s page. But with this app user can have more access to its LinkedIn profile.
LinkedIn’s iOS and Android apps are in the market for a long time but Windows Phone users is getting the new features which are neither present in the iPhone or Android. LinkedIn for Windows Phone takes the advantages of the platform’s Metro UI and Live Tiles and gives the stunning look and feel and overall UI is just awesome compared to the apps of iOS and Android. The slick, consistent Metro style is very appealing and its very easy to navigate.
According to Tomer Cohen, mobile product manager at LinkedIn, “We took advantage of the unique and beautiful Windows Phone metro style design while ensuring users would have easy and quick access to all the relevant professional information they’ve come to rely on from LinkedIn.”
With the slick UI there are also some bugs, which I encountered when I am opening the app. But overall LinkedIn for Windows Phone is slick, beautiful and speedy and its worth downloading.
