You can’t directly add the URL to the Google reader subscribe box since it requires the RSS link.

So you can tweak the URL as .rss">http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/<twitterid>.rss

Now enter the above URL in the subscribe box of Google reader replacing <twitterid> with your Twitter Id and click Add.
