Starting today Microsoft will be releasing a preview version of Skype for Outlook.com. With this Skype will be in your inbox which will bring voice and messaging service to Outlook mail system.
Currently service is introduced only to UK users and US and Germany in the following week. And very soon it will be available worldwide, according to Microsoft.
To use Skype within Outlook.com, user requires one time install of plugin for browser which is available for most of the recent and popular browser. Once installed connect Skype to Outlook.com using Microsoft account and Merge the account.

Two step verification is one of the most important security features for all the online services. Most of the company has accepted the two step verification and Microsoft was really lagging in that. Finally Microsoft have started adding this feature for most of the accounts (Some user might see it coming days).
Below are the steps to enable this feature.
Login in to your Microsoft Account and click on Account Settings as shown below.
From the left sidebar select Security Info and Select Set up two-step verification.
It will ask for Authenticator method. User can select Authenticator App, Phone number or the alternate email address. Other than Authenticator app, User will be mailed the verification code which user should enter in the field. And once added two step verification is done.
Personally I am a big fan of SkyDrive and so I track every new releases of SkyDrive on any platform. SkyDrive is available in almost all of the major platforms and with today’s 3.0 version released it will start supporting iPhone 5 and iPad Mini and also includes plenty of new features, including support for full resolution photo downloads and completely revamped user interface.
Personally I loved the new version of SkyDrive and there are some drastic performance improvement and particularly marquee feature introduces some awesome photo management features. All I can say is its worth downloading the new update and particularly I loved full resolution photo download feature.
Download SkyDrive for iPad and iPhone.
After meager review to Windows 8, Microsoft is trying hard to catch the pace and are trying to attract lots of developers and also creating, updating apps on Windows Store which still lacks some good quality apps. Today on my Windows RT tablet I just received the new update for Mail, Calendar and People apps.
The new Mail app is now easy to organize and there’s a big emphasis on filters and folders and thus making the process of organizing content little easy and less stressful. Now with the new app user can even create and delete folders right from the Mail app.
Calendar app now offers a new visual enhancement, making easier to read and same goes for People app which now offers better navigation from which now you can easily swift between your profile and the “What’s New” feed.
Updates has already been rolled out. You can update by clicking on the Updates link on the top right corner for Windows Store app and if Windows Store is pinned to Start than you can easy see Updates available. Please let me know if anyone faces the issues after update. You can read the full post from here.
